What are fine line tattoos?
A fine line tattoo is a subtle, delicate, and thin tattoo. It is done with the same permanent ink as regular tattoo. but uses either a single needle or a very small needle grouping. They look discreet and are suitable for those who prefer subtle, delicate and minimalist aesthetic. Aftercare is extremely important for fine line tattoos because even the smallest scratches can cause missing ink on the healed tattoo.
Will I need touch-ups?
It is important to choose the placement for fine line tattoos wisely. Movable and exposed areas such as fingers, hands and neck may pose more risk of fallout. Protecting the tattoo from the sun’s UV rays with proper SPF and moisturizing regularly will ensure the longevity of your tattoo. Regular touch-ups will help keep fine line tattoos looking clean and sharp.
When are the sessions happening?
The consult and tattoo session bookings are available Mondays and Tuesdays between 12 and 8 pm.
ABOUT YANA
From a young age, I devoted countless hours to meticulously learning to draw and paint. This led me to the Alberta University of the Arts where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Drawing with honours. Years in the graphic design industry taught me to listen and communicate about creative concepts and then express them visually. Coming from a multicultural background I can relate and appreciate the deep symbolism of many cultures. I also have a special love for nature and animals.
Of the many art forms I practised, tattooing is by far the most challenging because of the amount of responsibility I have as an artist. I’m forever grateful to all my clients who allow me to adorn them with this ancient art form.
